Where does the market data come from?
Prices, charts, market cap, volume and asset profiles are provided by the CoinGecko API. Data is refreshed regularly while you use the app and may be slightly delayed.
Can I buy or sell crypto in NADAPP?
No. NADAPP is an information and record-keeping app. Transactions you record are notes for your own tracking and don't move any assets.
How do I add a transaction?
Open any asset and tap Add to Portfolio, or use the + button on the Portfolio tab. Enter the quantity, price per coin, date and an optional fee.
How is profit calculated?
NADAPP uses the average-cost method. Unrealized P/L compares current value with the cost of what you still hold; realized P/L comes from sells. Amounts recorded in another currency are converted with current exchange rates.
What does the DCA calculator show?
It replays a fixed purchase amount on a daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly schedule against recorded daily prices from the last two years, and compares it with a single purchase on the start date. Fees aren't included.
What do the Converter and Profit Calculator do?
The Converter turns a coin amount into a fiat amount (or the reverse) at the latest CoinGecko price. The Profit Calculator takes a quantity, buy and sell prices and percentage fees, and shows profit or loss, return and the break-even price. Both are calculation aids only.
How do price targets work?
Swipe left on an asset in your watchlist, or tap Target on its detail page. The watchlist then shows how far the current price is from your target.
Is my data backed up or synced?
Your records stay on your iPhone and aren't uploaded. Deleting the app removes them.
How do I change the currency?
Go to Tools > Display Currency. USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD, CHF, SGD and HKD are available.
